International District Bus Shelter, Seattle
Commissioned by the Municipality of Metropolitan Seattle and the Seattle Arts Commission, historical photographs were screen
printed on 12" X 12" tile to create a colorful montage of the history of the neighborhood. The interior panels tell a chronological story from
the 1890's to the 1990's. All interior photographs are supported by explanatory text and are framed in a subtle bamboo pattern.
 


Waterway # 15, Seattle
Commissioned by the Municipality of Metropolitan Seattle, site design by Elizabeth Conner in collaboration with Cliff Willworth.
Screen printed ceramic tiles embedded in basalt rockery. 72 tiles in all with historical photographs depicting local lore.
 


Salishan Gathering Place, Tacoma
12" X 12" ceramic tile installed in two granite pillars with screen printed descriptive text recognizing community and
personnel involvement.

Fremont Public Association, Seattle
An interactive tile wall consisting of 20 triangular boxes. Five boxes wide, four boxes high, each one can be turned
independently of the other. This lobby art was commissioned to display the names of anyone who donated funds to
the resource center. This interactive piece intersperses names, photographs, graphics and other images
relating to the history and mission of the Fremont Public Association community resource center.
